Angela Maxwell Bail Bonds

I am deeply saddened to say that Angela Maxwell Bail Bonds is now permanently closed. After living in California for 13 years, I am disgusted to see what Governor Gavin Newsom has done to this once thriving state. I have chosen to do what hundreds of other businesses in California have done, that is close and move away to reopen in another state that appreciates it.

As a bail bondsman, I have seen the crime rates skyrocket, but instead of issuing bail, the courts are simply letting people out as soon as they are booked. Bail bondsmen are an integral part of the criminal justice system as we don’t accept payment from taxpayers. It is our responsibility to ensure that the defendant is brought to court on each of their court dates or rearrest them if they fail do so.

I will miss this beautiful state, but will enjoy being out from under the dangerous grasp of Gov. Newsom.

Although we are no longer writing bail bonds in California, we are still working with our remaining clients until they secure the final disposition on their cases.
